Turn a photo or screenshot into a task in Telegram
A photo can contain something you need to do: a repair to arrange, a form to return or an instruction someone sent as a screenshot. The useful result is more than extracted text. You need a clear action, the details needed to perform it and a checked deadline.
TasksNet can use a photo or screenshot to prepare an editable task draft. You review the result before saving. This guide focuses on making that review useful instead of assuming that AI has understood every part of the image.
Choose an image with one clear purpose
A tightly framed screenshot of a request is easier to interpret than a full screen containing several conversations. A readable photo is more useful than a blurred document with cut-off dates.
For example, photograph a repair note that names the equipment and the required next step. The task might be “Arrange a repair for the kitchen extractor,” while the model number belongs in the description. If the photo only shows an object, the intended action may still be unclear. Add context rather than expecting AI to decide whether you want to repair, replace or research it.
Remove unrelated sensitive details before sending the image. An AI task draft does not need a password, card number or an entire private conversation to describe an ordinary action.
Send the photo to the bot
Open TasksNet in Telegram, tap Start if needed and send the photo or screenshot. You can include a short caption explaining what you want to do. Wait for the proposed draft, then review its fields.
Use the bot workflow when you are starting from an image. If you are already editing a task in the Mini App, review the current task before using image input there: that flow can enrich an existing task and has its own save behavior. This article does not assume that every image-entry surface is identical.
Check the action before the extracted details
Ask whether the title describes something you actually intend to do. “Repair note” or “Screenshot of a message” may identify the image but still leave you without an actionable task.
Rewrite the title as a concrete next step. Then check the description for the details that matter: the item, the requested document, the person to contact or the reference you will need. If there are several unrelated actions, split them intentionally instead of leaving an ambiguous list in one task.
Treat dates as facts to verify
A screenshot may contain a message timestamp, a document issue date and a genuine deadline. Those are different facts. Confirm that the task's proposed deadline comes from the correct one.
If the date is small, obscured or ambiguous, correct it manually or leave the deadline unset until you know. Do not accept a confident-looking date simply because it appears in a field. The same applies to an exact time: a document that states only a day has not agreed an hour for you.
Review the reminder separately from the deadline. A notification should give you time to act, especially when the task involves gathering information or arranging an appointment.
Correct the draft, then save
AI extraction can miss words, misread numbers or misunderstand the purpose of an image. A short manual correction is often the fastest way to finish. If the result is unusable, send a clearer crop or create the task manually from what you can read.
If something fails while you are editing an existing task, check the current task list before starting over. Your earlier saved work may still be present. This helps avoid creating a second task when only the image-processing step failed.
Personal use and AI limits
The personal plan supports task management within its current Free limits. Image analysis uses AI allowance, and availability depends on the current plan and service limits. Check the app for the current balance and availability. Shared changes require Premium for each participating account.
Can I rely on the image as a document archive? This workflow is for preparing task fields. It does not promise a searchable archive of every original image.
Will a task be created without review? In the private bot draft workflow, you review and confirm the proposal first.
